On the 22nd of March, in the morning exactly, through the launch of a groundbreaking ceremony, Marco Urgent Care established a new milestone in the construction of a modern and efficient urgent care center. The beginning of an essential medical facility construction begins with this event, and it serves the people of Marco Island and the neighboring regions.
A Hub for Accessible Healthcare
The envisioned signifier in the physical space of the object interprets as easily accessible and effective healthcare services represented in the Marco Urgent Care center. As patient-centered facility that aims to offer affordable and accessible healthcare service, the center will specialize in the delivery of a comprehensive and diverse scope of urgent care services that inclusive of diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care.
Phased Development for Enhanced Services
During the course of the executing phase, the project will advance through three distinct stages. In the initial stages though, it will purely be the construction of a brand new ultra modern facility. After that, the existing urgent care facilities will be shifted to the above-said new location, followed by the construction of a new building. On that note, the existing structures, which are the doctor’s office and the outpatient rehab facility, will be revamped. Modern Infrastructure for Comprehensive Care
The new facility planned will incorporate current aesthetics that will cater for several urgent health concerns. Reportedly, the first two levels of the building totaling to 20000 sq ft will accommodate the New Marco Urgent Care Center. This will consist of the 12 separate small private consultation rooms, a separate, distinct first contact/triage/initial patient assessment room, the CT and X-ray facilities, and finally the dedicated ambulance entry. The future physicians will offer minibus services on the second floor of the building.
